Responsibilities and Duties:

Budget (Non-Plan)

1. Revised budget sheet, allocation of non-plan grants.

2. Monthly statement of non-plan expenditure.

3. Quarterly and eight-monthly revised annual report.

4. To prepare budgets and revised budgets of non-government aided engineering colleges/technical institutes and similar institutions and submit them to the government.

5. Works related to BDS.

6. Permission to spend from Degree and Diploma Development Fund to Joint Directors and Divisional Offices.

7. All proceedings regarding the program budget.

8. Handling of EBC, PTC/ STC/ Ex Serviceman concessions as well as allocating funds and maintaining accounts for all government and non-government aided and unaided organizations.

9. Expenditure reconciliation, adjustment, etc. in all government offices and institutions as well as aided institutions.
