Scholarship Scheme for Minority Students of the State pursuing Higher Professional Courses (Part - 1 excluding Medical Courses)
Minority Development Department, Government of Maharashtra has implemented a scholarship scheme for economically weaker, meritorious and minority students of the state belonging to the minority communities of Muslims, Buddhists, Christians, Sikhs, Parsis, Jains and Jews from the state pursuing technical and professional education (diploma, degree and post-graduate) since 2008-09. For this scheme, the annual income of the family (both parents combined) has been fixed up to Rs. 8.00 lakhs. For this scheme, the students should have passed the Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSC) from the state of Maharashtra.
From the academic year 2022-23, the following scholarship amount is provided to the eligible minority students who have come for new scholarship and renewal under this scheme for the professional course in which they are studying.

Procedure for applying to avail the benefits of the above schemes:-
1) Eligible students studying in the institution can apply online for the above schemes.
Maharashtra Government’s MahaDBT Portal (URL – https://mahadbt.maharashtra.gov.in) The entire application form should be filled online as per the schedule shown on the DBT portal, following the user manual and instructions given above.
