Responsibilities and Duties:

Administrative matters of Class-3 and 4 employees at degree/diploma level as well as all miscellaneous work in the Directorate.

1. Providing information for all miscellaneous work/meetings in the Directorate/organizing meetings.

2. To act as a coordinator regarding the activities of the head office and subordinate institutions.

3. Providing umbrellas and uniform cloth to class-4 and drivers as well as providing stationery to all offices.

4. To sanction all types of advances (house construction/motor car/motor cycle/computer) to the persons holding posts in classes 1 to 4 in the Directorate and all related proceedings.

5. Sanction of advance from Provident Fund.

6. Training for the clerical category in the head office and all the institutions under its jurisdiction regarding departmental examinations, examinations, declaration of results, revision of the curriculum, provision of books and other related works.

7. Allowing Class-3 and Class-4 employees of the above offices/institutions to attend training/courses.

8. To collect all kinds of miscellaneous information from all divisional offices as well as the head office and submit it to the government.

9. Preservation of old records and disposal of unwanted documents as per government regulations.

10. To compile court cases in the Directorate and submit information about them to the Government.

11. Updating the Citizens' Charter.

12. Submitting quarterly review to the Director/annual report to the Government regarding the Right to Information Act 2005.

13. To undertake internal renovation and maintenance work.
