Responsibilities and Duties:

Appointment / Establishment Related Appointment Work

1.Work related to preparing appointment proposals for teaching and non-teaching posts of government and non-government aided institutions.

2. Work related to reservation roster (teaching/non-teaching) for government/non-government institutions

3. Work related to approval of appointment proposals for teaching and non-teaching posts of aided institutions (Engineering, Pharmacy, Polytechnic, ITI, Architecture, Management, etc.).

4. Voluntary fund activities.

5. Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar University of Technology and COEP University of Technology planning related work

6. Preparation of supplementary demand proposals.

7. Preparation of revised budget for the fourth and eighth months under the plan, distribution of provisions under the plan and preparation of expenditure statement, re-appropriation, etc.

8. Creating new posts in government and non-government aided institutions and sending proposals to the government to determine the expenditure limit.

9. Implementing the Unnat Maharashtra Abhiyan Scheme (UMA).

10. Direct Central Funding.

11. Taking action regarding grants under externally supported projects.

12. To observe the activities of collective technical colleges.

13. Handling all matters related to the Estimates Committee.

14. Preparing maps and estimate sheets for the construction of buildings of government and non-government subsidized institutions and obtaining administrative approval,

15. Book loan scheme / books etc. matters regarding educational facilities.

16. To take action regarding posts to be filled through external agencies as per the requirement in government institutions.
